Stella Cidre

12 oz. bottle poured into a Stella chalice

Medium Straw color with a steady stream of bubbles rising from the center of the glass.

Smells of pure crisp Granny Smith apples, sour and biting along with a more mild pear flavor coming through at the end.

Extremely carbonated, even for a cider

This is so dry it evaporates off the tongue as soon as take a sip. It leaves behind a crisp, dry, tart apple flavor on the tongue followed by a smooth, sweet pear-like finish.

Reminds me of a very dry champagne with just a touch of sweetness. Perfect for a warm summer evening or for celebrating that special occasion.

All Hail New Albion Ale!

New Albion

New Albion Ale:
Appearance: pours a light to medium straw color with a 1” thick white head that hangs well and leaves lots of lacing. Pours mildly cloudy but clears quickly.
Aroma: sweet bread and rich caramel. There is no hop scent at all.
Mouth feel is light but not thin

Taste: There is a nice malt flavor on the palate and a surprising dry pine bite of hops on the finish. The hops are a pleasant surprise as there is absolutely no hop scent even as the beer warms and the malt in comparison is very sweet. There is a nice alcohol bite at the end but it is not overpowering.

Drinkability: This is a surprisingly sessionable beer. There is no hop aroma and it is all dry pine finish.
Serving: poured a 12oz. bottle into a tulip glass.

Have you tried the delicious Bass Stout?

Bass Stout:
Appearance: pours black with a very thick head and almost no lacing
Aroma: really nice caramel, chocolate & roasted malt
Mouth feel is incredibly smooth and light (as a stout should be) but this is definitely a palate killer and is overly carbonated
T: first sip is roasted malt with a nutty caramel finishing. The finish is dry thanks to the carbonation but that is what keeps the flavors of this beer moving on the palate
Drinkability: This is a very drinkable beer.
Serving: poured a 12oz. bottle into a tulip glass.
